Expectedly not as strong as before as there're still some unsolved attachments to the last season, but strongly believe it'll come back high in the next episode

Well finally Dirk and Todd are back with a new holistic investigation .. even though the episode was not as strong as i hoped for, I believe as it still had the unsolved mysteries like black wing and the abduction of Dirk from last season so things went a bit slow ... Of course up until the end where Dirk is "Free" and ready to again look for Todd.

Maybe the episode had a low rhythmic events but i think when Dirk and Todd are reunited "hopeful in the next episode" we will get to see that tense stressful comedy from Elijah Wood and that humorous exciting carelessness from Mr. Dirk Gently.

The plot is still genuine and has many strong sub-plots so there are so many possibilities where the events are going, but i think the writers should be careful not to strip the comedic part away and just focus on the Sci-Fi !!! because yes the Sci-Fi element is the core of the story but for me the comedy here is as pivotal as the sci-fi part in the show.

As for the cast they're still engaging, Elijah Wood's expression of having that hallucinations was good, but again his script must go back to the tense comedy which he excels at , Samuel Barnett is also doing a good job and can't wait to see him again bug "Todd Brotzman".. and i'v noticed a new face; Amanda Walsh as "Susie" she was really good in here and expected to have more lines especially in the expected encounter with Dirk and Todd.

To conclude I'm happy it's finally back, this premiere though was not as strong as we used to but I "200%" believe it'll pick up in the next couple of episodes to the high level of comedy/thrill we used to.
