The King's Man Delayed Until Fall as Bob's Burgers Movie Is Pulled from Disney Slate

The King's Man Delayed Until Fall as Bob's Burgers Movie Is Pulled from Disney Slate
Disney is following in the footsteps of MGM, Universal, and Sony be delaying their Q1 releases. The King's Man, Ron's Gone Wrong, Antlers, and more have been delayed, while the highly anticipated Bob's Burgers movie has been taking off the release slate entirely. As for whether or not Marvel Studios' upcoming Black Widow movie will be delayed, that has yet to be confirmed. However, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige says that it is a real possibility.

Bob's Burgers was originally set to open in theaters this April, but it no longer has a release date. It is unclear if Disney will announce a new date, or have the movie go straight to streaming instead. The King's Man (20th) was previously slated for release on March 12th, and now moves to August 20th. The movie was originally going to open on November 15th, 2019, but was pushed back first to February 14th,

No Time to Die, F9, Morbius and More Expected to Be Delayed Again

No Time to Die, F9, Morbius and More Expected to Be Delayed Again
New year, same old tune. With the situation at the box office not improving as quickly as Hollywood may have hoped, it appears as though a number of upcoming blockbusters scheduled for the first half of 2021 will be delayed yet again. We played release date shuffle all throughout 2020 in the hopes that the new year would offer greener pastures. That may still prove to be true later in the year. But, for now, movies like No Time to Die, F9, Morbius and others may need to move at least once more or risk losing millions.

According to a new report, with approximately 65 percent of movie theaters closed in the U.S., and with many more closed internationally, studios will have to make difficult decisions with movies set to be released relatively early in 2021. Vaccines are being distributed currently, which many had hoped would boost box office dollars. But the rollout in the U.

Hollywood Prepares to Delay Another Slew of Blockbusters

Hollywood Prepares to Delay Another Slew of Blockbusters
Here we go again. Late last year, Warner Bros. was skewered after announcing that all of its new movies in 2021 would debut simultaneously on HBO Max and in theaters. Cinema operators, rival studios and even some of the filmmakers behind the movies wondered aloud why, with the prospect of coronavirus vaccines looming, Warner Bros. would make such a sweeping decision? It was a move that appeared to wave the white flag on moviegoing for the next 12 months.

Nobody expected mass immunization overnight, but with vaccinations being administered at a crawl in the U.S., it now looks like Warner Bros. may have been forward-thinking in acknowledging the box office’s slow return. Numerous films remain on the release calendar for early 2021, yet cases of the virus in many areas are higher than ever and approximately 65% of U.S. theaters — including those in popular markets like New York and Los Angeles — remain closed.

Reynolds recently shared a clip from the set of the Netflix time travel movie, showing the prepubescent Scobell reciting a Deadpool 2 monologue from memory.

Watch: Ryan Reynolds Introduces His Co-Star For New Netflix Movie

Watch: Ryan Reynolds Introduces His Co-Star For New Netflix Movie
Ryan Reynolds must have had a great time working with Netflix on 6 Underground, because he’s shooting two big budget movies back to back for the streaming service, although the $27 million paycheck he picked up for headlining Michael Bay’s action blockbuster would have surely helped.

After filming was delayed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, Reynolds finally returned to work on Red Notice alongside Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in September, and just a week after the $150 million globetrotting heist thriller wrapped, he was on the set of The Adam Project, which reunites him with Free Guy director Shawn Levy.

The project has been floating around Hollywood for so long that Tom Cruise was once attached to star back in 2007, but following a decade in development hell, the story is finally coming to the big screen with the Deadpool star steering the ship. Reynolds recently took to

26 Most Anticipated 2021 Movies That Were Delayed by Covid, From ‘F9’ to ‘Black Widow’ (Photos)
Instead of writing a new list of the most anticipated movies of 2021, I could just link you to last year’s list. Covid-19 forced studios to shelve many of their biggest blockbusters until next year. And it wasn’t just a date on a calendar either: many of these movies got full blown trailers, late night show appearances and marketing campaigns hyping us up before the pandemic pulled a fast one. In some regards, it’s a fool’s errand putting together any sort of calendar list, because 2020 proved constantly shifting dates or a sudden move to streaming is no longer a sign of a bad movie but is just par for the course. All of these movies were meant to come out at some point in 2020, and this doesn’t even include hot titles for early next year such as “Cherry,” “The Many Saints of Newark,” “Cinderella,” “The United States vs. Billie Holiday

Ryan Reynolds And Jim Carrey May Team Up For New Netflix Movie

Ryan Reynolds And Jim Carrey May Team Up For New Netflix Movie
Ryan Reynolds is slowly but surely making his way through the thirteen movies he had on his upcoming slate just a few months ago, but he might have added another one after entering talks to reteam with Sandra Bullock for action-packed romance The Lost City of D.

The Croods: A New Age already hit theaters in November, while Free Guy was given a new release date in May and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is set for next August. The 44 year-old also recently wrapped Netflix blockbuster Red Notice and is currently hard at work on The Adam Project for the streaming service, while Deadpool 3 finally gained some momentum by hiring a pair of writers in the Molyneux sisters.

Admittedly, that still leaves family fantasy Everyday Parenting Tips, comedy Upstate, the Clue reboot, a musical version of A Christmas Carol and video game adaptation Dragon’s Lair, along with rumored sequels for 6 Underground,

Disney Gives New Dates to Free Guy, Death on the Nile, and More
After their big presentation yesterday, Disney has updated their film release calendar; moving some things back and giving fresh dates to others. Ryan Reynolds’ New Movie Gets Delayed Until May 2021

Ryan Reynolds’ New Movie Gets Delayed Until May 2021
Ryan Reynolds was so confident that his new movie Free Guy would hit theaters before the end of the year that he even went to the trouble of creating a promo designed entirely to make fun of all the uncertainty surrounding the 2020 release schedule. In a cruel twist of fate, though, not long after that, the film was removed from the calendar and delayed indefinitely.

And while it’s certainly disappointing that we’ll no longer see it this month, you can totally understand why Disney don’t want to release Free Guy in such a barren marketplace. After all, it looks as though it could have easily cost at least $150 million to put together. Not only that, but with Reynolds in the lead role and a high concept premise that seems like it’ll be a ton of fun, the movie has the potential to be a big hit.

Disney Reshuffles Release Schedule: ‘Thor 4,’ ‘Black Panther II,’ ‘Free Guy’ & More Delayed Again
Normally, when a studio announces delays and release date changes for more than half a dozen major films, that would be a huge bit of news. However, coming off of last night’s absolutely massive Disney Investors Presentation, the studio coming back and making several release date changes doesn’t seem to be all that consequential. But hey, if you want to know why some of your most anticipated Marvel films aren’t hitting their original (but also delayed) dates, here you go.

Movie Release Dates: ‘Free Guy’ Moves to May, ‘Death on the Nile’ Floats to September, ‘Antlers’ Vanishes Entirely
