The Widow Maker
27 March 2018 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Back in the early 1980s, social networking was CB radios. Mobile phones put paid to that.

Brian Fitzpatrick is a CB radio enthusiast but Vincent gets Carol to lure him for a rendezvous with a flirty lady. After they tell him it is a scam Brian breaks down and tells everyone of his tumultuous home life.

On the other hand Vincent has been shortlisted for a business award. He goes full tilt with self promotion and on the day of the business award function, he thinks winning is just a formality.

Another strong episode, funny but one that takes a darker turn by the end. Vincent is not in full control of his life.

It looks only Martin is the most normal and likeable character here. Wonderful use of 80s music in this episode.
