The set up is great

Wow, this is a really low rating, but whatever, I'm going to say that I loved this episode. It's great to see the series back and start off exactly where the last episode left off. We get to see everybody together, including Thorax. He really does have a great design now that I look at it better. It's great to see the other reformed changelings in their new design too. Anyway, this episode features Twilight wondering what to teach Starlight Glimmer next. It's great to see Sunburst again too. It's rather entertaining for Twilight to use her magic to show Spike and Princess Celestia her actual thoughts. I can see these becoming episode plots.

The best part might be when Celestia laughs. She's known for being so serious all the time and this truly was something new for her! I don't know if the changelings can still shapeshift. We see them do it in Twilight's imagination, but that doesn't prove it. Those really did give us some funny moments and it's great to see everybody just have a good time. I think this is the first season premiere that wasn't a two part episode, even though two episodes were in fact aired on the day. ****
