Like with Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016), Morgan Freeman has openly admitted in interviews that he did this movie mainly for the money. As he explained for the previous two: "Money. It's the third in a series it pays better than the first one. I get to play the president again, I'm in a successful series, I'm working with a guy I really admire and like. It's perfect." When asked whether he still felt "fire in his belly" with regard to acting, he said: "I enjoy it, I still enjoy it. I love making movies, but it's more like smouldering embers now." See more »

If you give someone the task to write down the most stereotyped action story he or she can imagine you get something like Angel Has Fallen. Reminds me a lot of movies like Skyscraper with Dwayne Johnson: good production and likable and solid actors but a terrible boring story - like some other reviewers stated, you watched this movie already many times, and better made. In the cinema I got some dude sitting some seats on my left - snoring.
