Quotes
Ruth Wilder:
So, do I grab onto a specific body part?
Big Kurt Jackson:
You sort of grab everything and fall backwards.
Debbie Eagan:
Okay. You're not gonna drop me, right?
Ruth Wilder:
No, I swear. I got you.
Debbie Eagan:
It's like a fucking trust fall, only I stare at your face and remember all the reasons I don't trust you.
Ruth Wilder:
Look, if you miss, my body will break the fall. I take the hit.
Debbie Eagan:
Okay.
[
Debbie barely jumps and falls on Ruth]
Debbie Eagan:
How'd that look?
Carmen Wade:
So great.

Nothing livens things up like a montage. In this case, it's the backyard practice session between Debbie and Ruth (set to Dare, no less; seriously, a Transformers song!). It's exciting because they're gelling, that the firewall might not be so permanent.
But once fight night actually hits, it's a riot. The impromptu Klan tag team, the woeful money management of GLOW, and unification around a terrible rap. It's solid, alright.
