When Bozer starts to draw the identikit of Murdoc on a tablet, the digital canvas is mostly blank, with only a few lines drawn on them. However, after only a few streaks, he ends up having a portrait of Murdoc, which is detailed enough to be used for facial recognition. In reality, even for skilled artists, drawing such a picture on paper or a tablet takes time and patience, especially to get the details right. However, the scene makes it appear as if Bozer was drawing the whole picture within seconds, and there is no indication that enough time has passed for him to draw the portrait as seen. See more »

Angus MacGyver: Come on, I'd need propellant to make a cannon.
Patricia Thornton: See? You're already thinking about it.

Target: MacGyver
16 April 2017 | by tenshi_ippikiookamiSee all my reviews

This time MacGyver and Co. are not going in search of danger... because danger is hunting them. Someone has paid a world famous assassin to off him. Will the team be able to stop this mysterious figure before it gets to Angus?

The plot offers a little bit of variety, and the idea would make for some interesting moments... but half the episode is lost with really-not-very-interesting Bozer and the pace is so frantic that it is impossible to enjoy one of the raison d'etre of MacGyver: his inventions. It all goes so: partitioned screen, cut, cut, cut, that it is lost what MacGyver is trying to do, and more important, why it is supposed to be awesome.

The easy charm and banter that the characters have developed in the episodes so far is what saves another weak episode (not that the acting improves over bland level).
