This short is long on its list of messages, and is chocked full of irony. Great images flash before our eyes. Things are so bright, they are not observable. Nature/science is right in front of us, yet not within sight. Can an object that is so far from the natural world be our only portal back into wonder and imagination? Countryside dwellers are lucky to have never known this frustration, but most people will relate to the main character's plight.
