Amazing but spoilt by the cheesy narration.
28 December 2018 | by jenlabenSee all my reviews

The photography and facts are fantastic for young children. For adults watching with them though, the narrators script is so unbelievably cheesy. Describing what the baby animals are doing. Eg "When they've finished eating, they eat their old molts. Such gourmets." "This baby's got a funky afro going on." "Here comes the mother. Checking on her spotty crew." "Some get the day going with an early morning boxing routine." "And breakfast by the sea is a must. Even kangeroos can't resist. Their sandy cafe is serving up mounds of seaweed." "Breakfast in bed is what this wallaby wants but it has to serve itself" "Another dedicated father is teaching his youngsters the family business. Lesson one don't bother chewing your fruit." It's just constant and awful. Such a shame.
