Although Alexia, Franco's ex-girlfriend, has been deceased for some time, Franco still has her as a contact on his social network. When he decides to delete her and move on, something strange starts to manifest through his computer.
It is only a few minutes before one in the morning and the rude and repetitive noise of an incoming call ruptures the stillness of the night. Who could that be at this hour? And why is the husband as stiff as a corpse?
Isaac Rodriguez directed this two minute short film that falls into the found footage category. Through a cop's body camera we see the officer walk into a house where he soon realizes that he's not alone.
THE COP CAM lasts just two minutes but it's certainly a very entertaining short. A lot of times these horror shorts come out of nowhere and don't feature a hint of creativity but that's not the case here. Sure, the found footage genre can only do so much but I thought Rodriguez did a very good job with the directing duties and managed to build up a nice atmosphere as well as a good jump scene. I'm not going to ruin what happens but this is a nice short that's worth watching.
