MacGyver's bomb squad mentor has his best pupil ever called in confronted with an ingenious bomb at the New York UN headquarters. Together they diagnose its MO is the unique mark of the elusive 'Ghost', a master bomber previously believed killed but whose corpse was never found. Mac mobilizes the Phoenix Foundation to find him before he causes more damage, and fears the trap was set for them.
