In the first episode of a brand new season, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May make a pilgrimage to Detroit to drive three highly tuned muscle cars on the deserted streets of this once-great motor city. Also in this show, Jeremy drives the super-lightweight, super-hardcore, 789 horsepower McLaren Senna.
When James says his Camaro is 'all standard' that's not entirely correct. If you order the optional 10-speed automatic gearbox, as fitted to May's car in this film, you'll also need to pay almost $10,000 to have it beefed up, otherwise 1000 horsepower and 966lb ft of torque might cause it to burst. It is great to have them back. It is also great that you there is no celebrity section which spoilt Season 2 when it took up about a quarter of the show. Let's hope that there is no celebrity section for the rest of the series.
