Storyline

Elizabeth gives painful birth to a son, Arthur, whilst Henry's uncle Jasper travels to Burgundy where Duchess Margaret, sister of Richard lll , shelters Yorkist exiles to propose an alliance. However circumstances prevent this. As Elizabeth and Henry prepare for the coronation Elizabeth hears from her mother, exiled to Bermondsey Abbey, bidding her to contact Margaret to overthrow Henry but Elizabeth is concerned that any rebellion would harm the baby to whom she has become attached.
