Storyline

Described as a sort of comedic X-Files, Ghosted centers on Leroy Wright, a cynical, hilarious skeptic, and Max Jennifer, a genius "true believer" in the paranormal, who are hired by the Underground Investigative Service to look into the rampant "unexplained" activity in Los Angeles - all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race. Slapstick silliness is a grave mistake!
1 October 2017 | by khunkrumarkSee all my reviews

Meah... I tried to like it as me and the rest of the world love a buddy comedy... when it works that is!

The problem is that when the chemistry isn't there and the humour is forced it's dire... and that's what Ghosted is.

Two unlikely 'Ghostbusters' are adopted by the government agency 'Bureau Underground' and are forced to team up to save the planet. One is white and one is black... one is big and one is little... both are childish and unlike-able.

Sounds like a good idea, right? Well, it is a good idea, but while the energy level is high and there's a good deal of frantic physical activity the quality of the writing is low.

It's two silly men doing lots of silly things and the hope here is that the special effects will pick up the slack.

Your 10-year-old kids may like it, but grown-ups will struggle to get into the spirit!
