Charles has purchased a vintage RV with the hopes of taking his family on a road trip to reconcile with his two sons, a promise he made to his wife before she recently passed. His oldest son, Steve, his wife Jennifer (Denise Richards), their daughter and family dog, are excited for the excursion, however, his youngest son Jay is less than enthusiastic. Along the way, the family picks up Samantha (Mischa Barton) and her brother, broken down on the side of the highway. Before they get them to a service station in the next town, however, Charles insists on taking a detour into the desert to visit a landmark and they soon get lost. Now stranded in the desert, the unsuspecting group is blindsided by the terrible secrets they discover within the walls of the RV and find themselves in the fight of their lives. —Jeff Denton

When the RV first breaks down, four characters stand outside and say the heat would prevent anybody walking for help. All four are wearing jackets or cardigans of some kind and nobody shows any sign of being even slightly warm.

Worth a watch

Ok so there is a lot of 1 and 2 star reviews here but this movie really isn't that bad! If you like horror movies that can be a little made for TV this one falls into that category.

Yes, Denise Richards has been to see a plastic surgeon but she sure looks good for her age! Acting wise is a little dramatic at times but hey go with it!

Story wise it's a little cliche and cheesy but there are still enough shocks and surprises amongst the bad decisions and predictability to keep you entertained for 90 mins.

Give it a chance if you want an easy to watch fun horror movie.

There seems to be more cast listed then the number of people in the actual movie, is this number correct? I don't remember a " crime scene investigator" in the movie at all so which part was he in? I feel like I am missing out on this role in the flick.
