Wolves of Lusatia

In 1995, an alone wolf crossed the German Polish Border in the Upper Lusatia region of Saxony and initiated the re-migration of wolves in Germany. Two years later, a second wolf crossed the border and the pair produced the first wild wolf cubs on the German soil for 150 year. The population has now increased to form to packs. It fellow Stephan Kaasche, a local wolf enthusiast, though prime wolf territory and meet people directly affected by the new immigrants.
