At one point, the production ran out of money for the elaborate tattooing, 14 on his face, 39 on his body, and Bell was forced to keep the tats on his face for several days. Bell stated that "none of the crew would hang out with me. I was eating alone."

In the scene when Byron throws up in the bathroom early in the film, when he first throws up some of the puke hits the mirror, in the next take there is no puke on the mirror, and in the take after that there is puke on the mirror again.
