- The Rodríguez brothers are hiding during the negotiations. Pacho meets the Lord of the Heavens in Mexico. Peña's new DEA team visits Cali.
- Pilot Amado Carillo Fuentes arrives in Mexico with a plane full of pallets of cash and is greeted by Pacho Herrera and his brother Alvero. Senator Martin and Senator Toyle from the Appropriations Committee visit Peña and the DEA team to assess their activities for future funding. A montage narrated by Peña explains how the Cali Cartel launders money using money orders shipped to Panama, an effort spearheaded by Franklin Jurado who is aided by his wife Christina, an American. Agents Feistl and Van Ness arrive in Cali and trust their Colombian police escort with information that they are there to track possible Cartel financial connections. Peña meets with journalist Carolina Álvarez and feeds her Jurado's name in exchange for information about him without the DEA's knowledge. Jurado and his coke-using wife argue as he is about to leave the country because she is going stir crazy. Maria Salazar tours a luxury apartment offered to her by Miguel after the death of her husband. But, she says she will have to think about it. Jorge Salcedo and Paola discuss a meeting with investors for the security firm he wants to start after he leaves his position as Cartel Security Chief. She is okay with the six-month delay now because she understands he did it for their family. Jorge prepares his teams to protect the bosses at their day of meetings at the National Hotel. Feistl and Van Ness visit addresses of companies in the city and come up empty. Jorge drives Attorney Alan Starkman from the airport who reminds Jorge that he is guilty of conspiracy even though he is not personally involved in trafficking drugs. Gilberto and Miguel meet with Starkman, who also meets Guillermo the head accountant for the Rodriguez brothers. Peña follows Jurado and sees Christina, who appears upset. Amado asks Pacho what he will do after the surrender, asking him to come to Juarez to see "the future". Peña wants to follow Jurado to Panama but is thwarted by Stechner who tells him he has to brief the Senators instead. Feistl and Van Ness are brought by the local officer to a building occupied by the Cartel and surprise him with a warrant to raid it. Reluctantly the officer calls in a tactical team, a move not anticipated by Jorge's man who is following them. Jorge hears it on the radio and warns Guillermo, who ignores him. Jorge barely arrives in time to hide the cash and documents on Guillermo's desk before the DEA and Police arrive and remove boxes of documents. Stechner, Peña and the Senators arrive at the site of a Cocaine lab in the jungle as Captain Mills is burning the bodies of dead traffickers. Pacho states that he has proved his father wrong about him by his success in the Cartel. The police will not allow Feistl and Van Ness to take the evidence and order them to leave on the last plane out. Peña talks to Mills and realizes the tour is staged for the senators, then tells Stechner he's going to go home and tell everyone. Stechner continues to sell the Senators on the need to invest further US Presence in Colombia. Stechner tells Peña they've already lost the drug war and that Peña is taking it too personally. The officer Feistl and Van Ness were working with reports to Jorge. Peña hears that Jorado's trail has gone cold and orders a tap on Christina's phone. Jorge is at dinner with the investors when David Rodriguez comes in the restaurant and introduces himself to the investors, exposing Jorge is with the Cartel. Feistl and Van Ness follow Guillermo as he delivers the documents to the bosses. Maria's mother-in-law tells her to take the apartment so she can sell it for cash later. She meets with Miguel and asks him for help to get away from Claudio Salazar's family and get her son back. He agrees and she expects to have to sleep with him. But, he tells her instead to get some rest. Feistl and Van Ness see Gilberto Rodriguez on the street outside the hotel and call Pena for orders.
