Storyline

The team in investigating a video game designer who designs games that are actually the how to guide to commit certain crimes. The latest game takes place at some benefit wherein a person was killed. They track the killer who says she's CIA. She was burned by her handler and her family was later killed. When Reade is behaving violently when confronting perps, Weller tells him he needs to see Dr. Borden before he can go back to work. And Borden makes Reade face his demons. Elizabeth's description of her work is consistent with that of a NOC agent, who has minimal official cover story to back up her work, unlike Charles Kessler who has got the "vague boring job title, vague boring job description", which has the benefit of diplomatic immunity that a NOC doesn't have.
