The series stars Pat Shortt as a father and farmer in rural Ireland dealing with his two sons, the rigors of farm work and a sick wife. One of his sons, Conor, is a twenty-something who is forced to emigrate to London for a better life. Years later he returns home, expecting things to be the same but a lot has changed.
