Storyline

The early period of Mort and Shelly's marriage is presented, most specifically the time just prior to and during Ali's birth. Then, Mort, who was in therapy, began to test the theory if his gender identity was or should be related to his sexual orientation. In present day, Moshe offers Maura and Ali a proposition which could affect the entire family back in California if they accept it. And Davina and Sal hit a crossroads in their relationship, Davina's overall feelings related to the cocktail of drugs she is on to manage her HIV. In the process, Davina remembers back to her youth and a deal she made with God. Written by Huggo
