The Rise of Scar

Inferior to 'The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar'.

I'm not going to hate on this much, it's exactly what you'd expect after all. I personally think films for the younger audience should be aiming for family film status, but I get it's easier to make one with just one target. As with the predecessor, I reckon most of those it's intended for will like this.

The animation is OK, as are the voice cast; nice to hear Khary Payton of 'The Walking Dead' as Rafiki. The premise is what separates this from the preceding production, with this one much less interesting despite a mildly intriguing concept.

Again, not for me. I've still seen worse films though.
