Storyline

Bjorn, Halfdan and Sinric fight and use the sand storm to escape from emir Ziyadat. Ivar and Hvitserk arrive at King Harald's kingdom to join forces against Lagherta. Ivar offers to spare Bishop Heahmund's life provided he teams-up and fights with him against Lagherta. Floki's plan is found but Lagherta decides to let him go with his followers to the Land of Gods. Astrid hires an abusive fisherman to send a message to Lagherta informing when Kattegat will be attacked. Meanwhile Bjorn is returning to his homeland with Halfdan and Sinric, just before his brothers' battle for their home. —Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Goofs
During communion, the priest does not adhere to the proper procedure. He passes the communion wafer to Aethelred before saying "Corpus Christi". The proper procedure is to say "Corpus Christi", wait for the recipient to say "Amen" and only then pass the wafer. (5x6, around 25:45)

Iceland with no trees?

Writers and directors are going down, down down this season. Floki in Iceland and it's always raining, snowing and cold? When the vikings settled Iceland, Greenland and USA it was during a global warming period. Hence the overpopulation of all the nordic regions because of increased food production, better weather, and limited agricultural land. With the eldest son inheriting all, all the new born young males had to go "a viking" to find new land. Sort of what is happening all over the world right now, leading to much more conflict.

Iceland was covered in trees at the time.
