A Japanese teenager can see ghosts and sees a cute girl fighting an evil monster. He ends up with her reaper power and she as human in his high school class. He discovers a connection between his mom's death and these monsters.

Later, he meets up with Rukia Kuchiki, a Death God or Soul Reaper (Shinigami in Japanese). Later, he finds out that he himself is a Soul Reaper as well. The roles of Ichigo, Urahara, Uryu, and Orihime retain their English voice actors from the anime. Funnily, the voice in the anime of Ichigo's sister Yuzu switched roles to voice Ichigo's other sister Karin in this film. While some voice actors did play minor roles in the bleach anime, all other dubbed voices are not the anime English voices for those characters. See more »
