Trivia

Filmmaker Mike Siegel (Passion & Poetry - The Ballad of Sam Peckinpah, 2005) first met US filmmaker Robert Rodriguez at the German premiere for From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) where Rodriguez explained in detail to Siegel how he had made his $7000 sensation El Mariachi in 1992. Siegel immediately canceled his planned short film debut and instead filmed his feature debut Pendechos! for approx. $12.000 on Super 16mm. See more »
