Goofs | The then new 'Wellington' series-D five pound notes are seen throughout the series. While these were definitely in use but still coming into play as currency, the previous series were still common. Every scene where there is a £5 note shown, shows the new series...including the ones buried in the late 60s after an old robbery. Series D was introduced in October 1971 as part of the decimal changeover and even in the banks, many of the older series would have been used. See more » |
