Quotes

Marty Deeks: [the Deeks' proposal to Kensi in the hospital] I got you something. I kind of was waiting for the right time to do it. Really wanted to find, uh that sunset that we talked about on a beach, bottle of champagne. But sometimes life doesn't work the way that you plan it. So we adapt. Kensi Marie Blye will you please wake up and marry me.

Awful!
3 October 2016 | by cawhtfordSee all my reviews

No spoilers because this was beyond spoiling. Plot, dialog and direction could have been written as a first draft by a USC film school student. The NCIS franchise regularly stretches credulity by injecting a pretense about why the Navy would get involved in a case. (Oh, the woman who just ran down and kidnapped a guy is USMC Reserve? Why would LAPD get involved with that???) But this whole story is as contrived as that trope. Meanwhile, Kensy is in a coma, Hetty is being accused of treason and little Nell has suddenly become a ninja! You can't make this stuff up! (Oh, wait, they actually did!) If this is where this season's going, this show is definitely coming off my DVR list.
