Of toads ,young lovers and sad strange little men

Ross is a huge hero, after breaking POW'S out of a French prison and helping the poor find jobs and grow their own food.Meanwhile, everyone in Cornwall is laughing at Warleggan, who is having a nervous breakdown over someone putting frogs in his pond. Elizabeth proves she is even more cold and calculating than he is.

In the end,They get the last laugh, but hopefully that is temporary.Maybe that is how Warleggan will get his comeuppance in the end.He will go completely insane, maybe Elizabeth, too. One can only hope.
