Storyline

Reynolds warns Steve that if he continues to play games with him, Steve's going to lose. Steve agrees and begins to recount the last time he saw Dan alive. After explaining the meeting with Dan, Steve confesses to Reynolds that Carolee is carrying his child, not Dan's, but swears that he and Carolee weren't having an affair. He further explains to a skeptical Reynolds that he and Carolee slept together one time at Sky Haven, and Carolee only discovered the pregnancy a month after marrying Dan. Steve insists that he didn't want Dan dead because Dan had finally agreed to give Carolee her freedom. Martha recalls the days when Carolee would visit and laugh the loudest. Martha thinks that girl will laugh again, but Carolee ponders if she's gone forever. Carolee tells Toni about Billy's recurring nightmare and proposes telling Billy the truth.
