Goofs

In the interrogation room where Jared is arrested, he is first handcuffed. After he is handcuffed he is asked for his personal effects, including his cell phone and his watch. His cell phone is in his pocket, which is easy to get. However, his watch is on his left wrist, which is handcuffed to his right wrist. The watch has an expansion band rather than a buckle, which means there would be no way to get the watch off his wrist without removing the handcuffs. The detective is able to get the watch off without removing the handcuffs.

However, when you watch them handcuff him, they place the cuffs above his watch in a way that would allow them to remove the watch. See more »

Sad Events for J. Edgar
19 May 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This continues the efforts on the parts of some inadequate police officers to attack Harry's accomplishments. This includes the woman who became his Captain. This episode is about intense police work, as the case starts to take on more life. The bad guys are starting to see how the forces they are facing have long legs. The Hollywood murder case is becoming more and more raw, and it will be interesting to see what is thrown out and what will stick. Unfortunately, as Harry and J. Edgar are performing surveillance, something startling takes place. This will lead into more exposure of evidence.
