Storyline

Prior to Trixie's much-anticipated arrival, yet another major change is made to Nonnatus House by Sister Usurla. But it seems as though these decisions are fueled by her past experiences with maternity and nursing establishments. When a newborn's life is put in danger in the name of efficiency, she has a lot to reflect upon. Meanwhile, the maternity home is at risk of being shut down to make way for hospital development. The inspection is interrupted by two devastating incidents. Written by @AnaDarling

Unfortunate Casting
21 April 2018 | by alexlai-61376See all my reviews

Although I love this show, and as good as I believed this episode was, there was a woman cast as half- Chinese who was very clearly white. There are so few opportunities for Asian women, and even fewer for those of mixed race. How very disappointing from a show that normally casts diverse characters accurately.
