Tommie explores how smaller cities in England have had an equally large impact on the evolution of electronic dance music. He first heads to Brighton to meet the legendary Fatboy Slim, who proudly gave life to a new genre called Big Beat, right from this small sleepy seaside town. Then we head north to Manchester, where we explore how London's smaller counterpart, is where electronic music really caught on in England. We also meet hometown heroes MRK1, Zed Bias, and Virus Syndicate and understand how coming up in a gritty, smaller town directly affects and colors their music.
