Trivia
There's a scene where Jenkins is listing the historical magical artifacts that can transmute matter, and he mentions the scepter of Korob. This is a reference to Catspaw (1967), where aliens Korob and Sylvia use a transmuter in the form of a scepter to capture and hold members of the crew.

Goofs
The Librarians show up in full clown get-up at the carnival, arriving in a "clown car". They are eventually captured by the magician at the magic show and are led away to another part of the carnival. Between the time they leave the one tent and arrive at the other, they changed into the clothes they where wearing earlier in the show and all their clown make-up has been cleaned off. It is highly unlikely they brought a change of clothes with them, and that the magician would allow them to change and get cleaned up before attempting to turn them into wax statues.

Tears of a clown

Best episode ever, I love Christian Kane in any role, and the rest of the cast are great too,Jenkins is also a favorite since Night Court. I liked the show this week because the magic seemed more real that other episodes. The writers and director nailed it on this one.The costume designs were fabulous.They seemed to do nicely for each of the characters.If anyone missed it, please try to find it and watch.My opinion, It was now silly at all, it was entertaining.Christian is just the best at anything he does,acting, singing, being a chef, wish the show would show more of his skills. Rebecca is a very talented actress also. I am no a big fan of Jones or Gillian but they are cute
