Utilizing archival footage punctuated by contemporary interviews with comedy legends and scholars, this is the history of not only what makes us laugh, but how comedy has affected the social and political landscape throughout history.
I read some other reviews on here and I see that some of them complain about certain episodes being only about cursing in comedy or only about women in comedy. THAT IS LITERALLY THE POINT OF THOSE EPISODES. They are specifically showing certain areas of comedy in each episode and it is very interesting. People on here seem to completely miss the point of the show so DO NOT listen to them.
