Trivia

Director of Photography Rolf Dekens already had meet and greet tickets for the concert because he is a big fan of Hans Zimmer. When later it turned out he would be working on the concert closely together with Hans, he still used his meet and greet ticket to make a picture together after the show. Hans offered to reimburse him but he didn't take the offer. See more »

The Reference in concert experience
21 July 2018 | by ssjben-680-668522See all my reviews

While I never got the chance to watch this performance live, I bought the Blu-Ray and played it back on my own home theater which compromises of SVS Ultra speakers and subwoofers.

On to the performance, it's simply an exhilarating thrill of pure music - played by a multitude of musicians who IMO simply doesn't get enough credit. Everyone played their part to near perfection, everyone was a specialist in their own way. There was no sense of races, no sense of religion, it was simply music and music at its very best.

There isn't much to say other than watch this concert on a system that is capable of bringing your roof down. This concert deserves that much attention to really feel its immense energy.
