Shazia's GPS shows a distance of more than 54 miles from her home to Mia's place. Mia could easily have been out. It is inconceivable Shazia would not phone Mia first to arrange the meeting and avoid the chance of driving out there for nothing. However, Shazia knew from the hotel clerk that Mia might be apprehensive about talking to her because she had rented the porn film, so she decided simply to try to catch her at home instead of trying to arrange anything.
