This 2016 remake is as bad as it gets. Whoever knows the original Series will instantly know what I am talking about. I have no idea what the production team was thinking - they obviously tried to scramble up all successful elements from children-movies throughout the last decades, and created exactly that a scramble of nothing. The story line is terrible, boring and the characters could be replaced with any type character. Characters' personalities are not only weak but pretty much non existing - If there is a character or personality emerging it's forced. I think I mentioned the weak story-line with it's all over the place elements. Terrible story book. There is literally nothing left from the original series, which was simple, had strong characters and a great story-line. This one tries to be complicated and fast paced but losing breath within the first 10 minutes never getting to the finish line. If that wasn't enough - the voices of the main characters (Tobbi especially)are not only annoying but sound like the tele-tubbies... Film-making should elevate the audience or at worst give some decent entertainment, not pull them down onto a level of a single cell animal. Terrible and absolutely horrendous.
