Michael Oscar-Worthy zperformance
17 May 2016 | by briandouglasnvSee all my reviews

I've been watching NCIS since the beginning and it is one of my favorite shows. One of the reasons I've loved it has been watching Michael Weatherly grow in his career. I never considered him an exceptional actor, just a good one. I am so confused why he has never been allowed to show his full potential until this episode. Never before in any television show have I been as emotionally moved as I was by Michael Weatherly and his performance in this episode. Rarely does a television show even move me emotionally at all for that matter. Not in this case. I am sure he will get a television Emmy for this performance, but his career has now risen to a new level. This episode gets 10 stars for me just because of his performance. If you have never watched NCIS at all, start with this episode and it will definitely make it fun for you building up to this point.
