- TriviaWhen Linda finds Amenadiel in his office after learning he was only pretending to be a psychiatrist, she says he might want to pretend to be a lawyer next. Rachael Harris and D.B. Woodside had recurring roles on Suits (2011), which is about a college dropout posing as a lawyer. D.B. Woodside played (real) lawyer, SEC prosecutor Jeff Malone, in Suits and its spin-off Pearson (2019).
- GoofsIt has been noted that Lucifer's mom appears to have worn a bikini when she was in hell. You can see the tan marks of a halter bikini when she is wearing Maze's black leather top. Lucifer's mom took over Charlotte Richard's body after Charlotte died, thus the deceased Charlotte would have worn the bikini when she was still alive. Mum's true form is actually never seen for the duration of the series.

I wrote in my previous review for the S02E01 episode that the show Lucifer "It finally found its character!". I'm glad that it seems to be willing to continue its entertaining course...
The (unnecessary) drama is limited, and even that is wrapped with witty humor. The whole atmosphere is light and entertaining. This episode has also a very good comedic timing (which is essential to deliver the jokes and the funny situations).
Tricia Helfer seems like a welcoming addition to the cast. She looks hot and she can handle the humorous lines with ease.
A minor let-down is the gradual revealing of the "mythology" behind these supposedly celestial beings. Especially now that Luci's mother is around. "...all my children in Heaven","I want what your father took from me. I want my home back.". The "Heaven" seems too casual and too humane. All these descriptive comments make "heaven" too simple to swallow.
Anyway that's not the point. The most relevant question always is "Is it fun to watch?". Well the 2nd season started good and it improves. Now that Lucifer found its character as "A light supernatural action Comedy" (and disavowed the ...actual devil worshipers (!)..) I think it is a worthy series to watch for 42 minutes of light entertainment.
