  • CineMovie
At San Diego Comic Con this year, Warner Bros. and NewLine gave us a sneak peek into their upcoming horror slate including The Curse Of La Llorona. La Llorona or Crying Woman is a Mexican folklore, and Hollywood is using that as the basis of the movie starring Linda Cardellini (Daddy's Home 2), Raymond Cruz and Patricia Velasquez, and produced by James Wan. The filmmakers and stars explained the legend of La Llorona to the non-Latinos in the crowd and introduced the actors.

Pet Sematary Remake Lands John Lithgow

Pet Sematary Remake Lands John Lithgow
Just weeks after Jason Clarke signed on to play Louis Creed in Paramount's Pet Sematary, the cast is starting to fill out even more. John Lithgow has signed on to play Jud Crandall, the neighbor of Louis and his family in this upcoming remake. Production is scheduled to begin this summer, although there is no word on exactly when filming will begin, or exactly where production will take place. While there are still a number of major roles to be filled, the cast is coming together quite nicely.

Like the 1989 movie, this project will be adapted from the 1983 Stephen King novel of the same name, which celebrates its 35th Anniversary later this year. The story follows Louis Creed, his wife Rachel Creed and their kids Gage and Ellie, who move from Chicago to rural Ludlow, Maine, after Louis accepts a position as a doctor at the University of Maine.

Will Ferrell Hospitalized Following Car Crash, Is in Good Spirits
Comedian and actor Will Ferrell was taken to the hospital last night after the SUV he was riding in was side-swiped by another car. The SUV was completely flipped on its roof, with the crash happening on the I-5 freeway at around 11 Pm last night. The actor was one of three people in the SUV, which was being driven by a chauffeur, with the actor returning from a Funny Or Die event in San Diego, where he appeared as his Anchorman character, Ron Burgundy.

The actor didn't suffer any serious injuries, as a video taken from the scene, which you can see below, shows the actor in good spirits, talking on his cell phone while laying on a gurney and being lifted into an ambulance. Sources revealed this morning that Will Ferrell was released from the hospital and that he's doing well, having not suffered any serious injuries. However, witnesses

Emoji Movie Tops 2018 Razzie Awards Winners List

Emoji Movie Tops 2018 Razzie Awards Winners List
In what will come as a shock to probably nobody, The Emoji Movie has won the Worst Picture Award at the 2018 Razzie Awards. The T.J. Miller starring movie was destined for the award right from the start when it received an unprecedented zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes during its opening weekend. It has since climbed to a respectable six percent on the popular movie review aggregate website. In a statement, Razzies organizers branded the film a "talking poop opus," which is pretty much true except for the opus part.

The Emoji Movie took home Worst Picture along with a few other honors at the 2018 Razzie Awards. Worst Onscreen Combo also went to the movie, but it wasn't specific and just said that it went to any two Emoji characters on the screen together at the same time. The Emoji Movie also took home the Worst Director Award, which went to Anthony (Tony) Leondis.

Will Ferrell Hilariously Heckles Jimmy Fallon's Performance of "Don't Stop Believin'"

Will Ferrell Hilariously Heckles Jimmy Fallon's Performance of
Mental note: Don't invite Will Ferrell to karaoke. On Thursday's episode of The Tonight Show, the Daddy's Home 2 star hilariously heckled Jimmy Fallon during the host's performance of "Don't Stop Believin'" Sporting a bowl cut and piano tie, Fallon played an '80s musician named Peter who was testing out his new song. But as he started belting out the tune, Ferrell, donning his own bowl cut and green turtleneck, repeatedly interrupted the performance to ask questions about the lyrics. For instance, when Fallon sang, "Just a small town girl," Ferrell asked, "Where does she live?" And when he sang, "living in a lonely world," Ferrell asked, "Did she stay...

Duke Nukem Movie Targets John Cena

Paramount Pictures has entered early talks with actor and WWE Superstar John Cena to star in their Duke Nukem video game adaptation. The project currently doesn't have a writer or director in place, but it is being set up under the Paramount-based production company Platinum Dunes, run by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. With John Cena now eyed to star, it may not be long before the project is up and running with a writer and director.

Last year during the E3 Convention, Gearbox Studios CEO Randy Pitchford revealed they're, "putting together a deal with a major motion picture studio" for this Duke Nukemvideo game adaptation, but he wouldn't state what studio. Now that the deal has been finalized with Paramount, and with the star falling into place to play the title character, this project could be put on the fast track, but that all depends on how

As per tradition, the Golden Raspberry Foundation unveiled the nominees for the 2018 Razzie Awards today, just a day before the Oscar nominations are unveiled. Leading the pack with a whopping nine nominees this year is Paramount's critical and commercial disaster Transformers: The Last Knight, which landed a whopping nine nominations, after setting franchise low marks at the box office during its run. Daddy's Home 2 Arrives on Blu-Ray and Digital This February

  • Cinelinx
November's fatherly comedy sequel, Daddy's Home 2, has set their Blu-Ray and Digital release dates for February, but it's looking like Digital will be the way to go for those who can't wait to watch it.

Last November, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell reunited for the sequel to Daddy's Home, aptly dubbed 2, with idea that their characters had finally put their differences aside and were gearing up for the holidays. Of course, holidays mean family visits and the duo would soon find out that their on-screen father's played by Mel Gibson and John Lithgow would be making a (un)welcome appearance.

Daddy's Home 2 will release on Blu-Ray/DVD/4K Digital on February 20, 2018, but if you're the type of person that just can't wait, Paramount Pictures plans on releasing the Digital version of the sequel on February 6, 2018!

For more on what extra features are included, see below:

2017's Worst Movies According to Rotten Tomatoes

It's been one heck of a year for the box office and though there were many bright spots, 2017 just wasn't able to pull it together and it's quite possibly because of a handful of titles on this list of the worst movies of the year according to Rotten Tomatoes. It's important to note that these are all according to the metrics over at Rotten Tomatoes and not a personal attack on movies that took a lot of work and money to get made. Some people will agree with the list and some will not, but it's safe to say that everybody thought that the Emoji Movie was going to be a lot higher on this list.

Number 20 on the list goes to Ghost in the Shell, which is holding strong as the best of the worst movies of 2017 with a 46% rating over at Rotten Tomatoes. The movie was pretty much
