Season 2 is as good as Season 1 was
1 March 2017 | by whatithinkisSee all my reviews

If you're like me then you expected Season 2 to be awful. Throw in a new big name actor (since some earlier ones were now gone . . . I think I can say this without a spoiler alert 'cause this is specifically for Season 2, episode 5 and, if you've gotten this far, then you already know about those guys) and slide around in the opaque plot and hope for the best.

I watched the first episode just to see how bad it could be . . . and it wasn't awful at all.

Still . . . the next one will suck, I thought. But it really didn't and the story was turning a corner.

So I watched 3 and 4 and then looked forward to 5 and now I can say: Season 2 is as good as Season 1 was. In a different way. if you liked that one, you'll probably like this one.

Somebody in one of the other reviews noted the extreme (and they felt unnecessary) level of gore in episode 6, and so a heads-up re that. I'll go into that one with one eye closed and the other squinched up, but now I am curious to know what's what and Dennid Quaid is doing a decent job, so yay.
