    Good ending

Okay! I give this one props for a surprising ending. The acting was really bad. The leading character, Samantha, acted like a psycho most of the time. So it isn't surprising that the police viewed her as a prime suspect. But the ending made up for the bad acting.

Became Less and Less Realistic as the Film Progressed

This film begins with an attractive young woman by the name of "Tanya Brown" (Rachelle Gillis) talking to an unidentified person in her college library and then, when walking back to her dorm, being attacked and never seen again afterward. The scene then shifts to 4 months later with a young woman named "Samantha Blake" (Greer Grammer) and her best friend from high school "Kristina Roberts" (Emilija Baranac) beginning their first day of college together and subsequently petitioning to join a nearby sorority. Although Kristina is accepted into the sorority, Samantha is rudely rejected for reasons she doesn't understand. Not only that, but she continues to be treated in a hostile manner--to the point that even Kristina feels pressured into distancing herself from her. In spite of this, Samantha continues to push back against this sorority until something terrible happens and she finds herself as the prime suspect in Kristina's murder. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that this film started off rather well but, as the film progressed, it seemed to become less and less realistic--before finally ending on a rather ridiculous note. That being said, while I don't consider this film to be terribly bad, the lack of realism was simply too difficult to ignore, and I have rated it accordingly. Slightly below average.

    Moderately diverting who dunnit.

2 best friends go to college one pledges the other doesn't. The one who pledges ends up dead. There are lots of suspects - the casual boyfriend, the evil sorority sisters, the lecherous professor or his jealous wife (Moira Kelly). It's moderately diverting to the suspicion point to one then the other suspect. The heroine is played by Greer Grammar and she is is quite pretty and sweet. The daughter of Kelsey but don't confuse her with her sister Spencer - they are quite different looking.

At least it's not one of those slasher type shows. More of a who dunnit.

A fairly good murder mystery from LMN

When reviewing LMN movies I tend to use the word formulaic a lot. I'm debating writing a software program that could generate plots en masse. :)

So yes, this follows a standard LMN formula but it does manage to make things somewhat interesting so I'll give it a 7.

I'm usually easy on LMN actors because, well it's LMN. But this one was noticeably worse than than average. Chloe Babcock (Jubilee) was oddly robotic. The professor couple was sub-par.

And then there was Greer Grammar. I'm harsh on Actors who obviously got their chances because of their parents (Kelsey Grammar in this case). Greer is definitely not ready for prime time. I don't see her getting very far in the industry. BTW, why would you go by the odd middle name of Greer instead of her formal first name - Kandace?
