Storyline

Taking Back follows the story of a 16 year old teenager named Carlos Masahi who witnessed his parents get murdered 6 years ago, he seeks revenge on the organization that killed his parents. Carlos forms a team with the strongest people in the Island of Tokyo but before he goes to fight the organization that killed his parents, he wanted to recruit one more ally named Chrono Akita, it would have been easy except Chrono said he will join there team only if Carlos wins a fight against him. Normally this would be easy for Carlos but once Chrono finds out the opponent is stronger, he gets really pissed and will go as far to brutally killing the opponent. Written by Cruz Avery

Trivia

Despite the fact that the anime claims that it was only written by Cruz Avery, The original series was actually written by 2 people, the other person is Otani Takahashi. She was removed from the credits in the anime as the story was altered a bit to fit an anime release, she also has no connections to the anime adaptations other than the character designs! Also another fun trivia, Otani Takahashi is not actually her real name, it's a stage name and her real name has still not been made public. See more »

Goofs

There is actually a mistake in episode 22, where Chrono calls Angelica "Annie", the reasoning for the mistake is because the character Angelica is based off Attack on Titan character Annie Leonhardt and Angelica's voice actress is named Anie Inoue, Cruz claims its a common mistake but he usually corrects himself, but this time he didn't realize the mistake until he was editing the episode.
