Unexpectedly reunited with his daughter amongst the ruins of the world as they knew it, a father is determined to make this day special, even if they are already dead.
It is not easy or fair to write why. But it is , in profound sense, a beautiful film, with a powerful message. The theme is too familiar. The performances are great. To define it as a film about parenthood or about past or about normality , to admire its inspired cinematography or music seems be not enough. Something escapes , in this case, from the words circle. Something real significant. A father. His daughter. A sort of Doomsday. Another father. And his daughter. And two gestures , a Teddy bear a gun fire. And a street. Short, an admirable special short horror.
