Paul's latest accuser is Christina Farnborough, who baby sat Dee as a child though Dee denies that anything happened and supports her father, despite gutter press harassment. Paul throws a birthday party for her, which is well-attended, prompting Karl to be optimistic for his ex comedy partner's future but Marie's demand that Dee insists on her father's innocence leads to her fleeing the house. Soon afterwards Paul's legal team tell him that they have proof that Christina is lying though Dee, following a new recollection from her childhood, stakes out Christina's house to demand more answers. Trial by media.
5 November 2018 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

It poses the question, could a National Treasure have done the heinous crimes that he's accused of. In spite of being a National Treasure, Paul is a man, and of course capable of anything. In today's age of trial by Media, I wonder how many people have written him off, assuming he's clearly guilty, because someone has said so.

The episode does little to prove his innocence, what they've presented us with implies his guilt, he clearly had the opportunity, but did he do it? He has an awkward relationship with his troubled daughter, and of course has issues with his wife, due to his infidelity.

I wouldn't say it's as slick as the first, but an intriguing follow up. 7/10
