Trivia

A poem is quoted at the end of the film, "Unable to perceive the shape of you, I find you all around me. Your presence fills my eyes with your love, it humbles my heart, for you are everywhere." The source has proven difficult to identify precisely, presumably because it was adapted by Guillermo del Toro, who said he found it in a bookshop during filming. Some have attributed the poem to the Persian poet Rumi, but it is his predecessor Hakim Sanai who is acknowledged in the end credits. The lines have been found to be similar to a section of Sanai's Walled Garden of Truth as translated by Priya Hemenway. See more »

Or perhaps I would just warn you, about the truth of these facts. And the tale of love and loss. And the monster, who tried to ...

So bad
2 April 2018 | by See all my reviews

This movie was not worth the hype. Watched it because it won best picture, it didn't deserve to even be on that list. So unbelievably bad. Don't watch.
