Sex & Nudity

  • A few brief references to necrophilia and masturbation. They are mild and very easy to miss.
  • Episode 3: A man is seen in a fantasy/virtual world having sex with a virtual woman who is entirely nude. This scene is extended.
  • In episode 5, two women are briefly seen together. No nudity seen.
  • In episode 6, a son intimately kisses his mother. It seems to be a common occurrence and is uncomfortable to watch.

Violence & Gore

  • Graphic violence throughout the series.
  • One of the stronger scenes of violence is in episode 4, when a man is shot in the head and blood sprays. Brain matter dribbles from the back of his head when he falls over. Another scene is when a man and woman fight in episode 8. They are screaming, pulling each other's hair, head butting each other, kicking each other, and punching each other. Lots of injury detail is seen.

  • Frequent uses of "Fuck" and "Cunt".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Brief scene of cocaine in episode 4. Some marijuana smoking in episode 9.
  • Beginning of Episode 2, Emma Stone is seen crushing up a pill, snorting it, then proceeds to pass out for hours.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Since I am working in this show I will provide a parents guide.

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A man has a drill pushed in his head, with lots of blood spraying. Short but graphic (Episode 8).
  • A man is shot in the belly with a shotgun, blood sprays everywhere and the body is cut in half due to the power of the blast. We later see the upper part of the body in a bathtub with entrails. Very graphic. (Episode 8)
