The episode is titled after the 2007 Hal Lieberman and Nimród Antal American horror film of the same name, Vacancy (2007), which starred Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson respectively, as a young couple terrorized after stopping at a deserted roadside motel.

Goofs
When Noah is trying to see what's on the camera from the storage shed Audrey picks up a book end off the book shelf. The camera cuts to Audrey putting the book end back on the shelf, she sets it down against the books, but when the camera cuts back it is position against the wall of the book case instead.

Wow, this was good.

After a slightly subdued second episode, this was literally all guns blazing, so much going on, Emma's dad, Audrey's predicament, faces from the past, and or course that gory scene, which is perhaps the most violent scene on the show to date.

They haven't sacrificed the quality by making it more bloody and violent, a very good script.

A nice little homage to Halloween on the middle of the set of Psycho? They really did crank up the horror vibe for this one.

Excellent, 9/10.
