So if you are in need of money, how do you get the maximum amount of money, with the minimum amount of risk? Or just choose to take the minimum amount of risk and get something that seems unprotected. Which is kind of what this movie does. And the movie starts off really good (with the "heist" itself, that's why no spoiler). It has humor in it, a lot of weird characterisms and tension.
It does lose a bit of that special edge during its running time, but it never completely falters, and that's why it does not fail and fall flat on its back. I'm not saying what is going to happen to the object that is being stolen, because that's what the movie is about. And also about needs, greed and addiction. Not to mention "love" (in more than one color)
