Big Fix Alaska - National Geographic Channel

National Geographic Channel brings you Big Fix Alaska. A very short-lived TV show that allowed you to follow a small crew of ten mechanics around some of the most remote locations in Alaska. While most mechanics work in a shop and have the work brought to them, these guys go to the equipment needing repair and it just never seems to be a simple job site.

"There's no mechanic on call, no local hardware store, and no hotline for help."

From boats with dead engines floating at sea to a dozer in the remote village of Ouzinkie. "If you've got the guts AND the gear, you can bank gold."
